THE DRIVER

Luke Rumburg

Luke Rumburg is a Virginia-born driver competing in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge TCR class with Speed Syndicate. Behind the wheel of the No. 31 Audi RS3 LMS TCR, Rumburg has established himself as a fast, technically capable competitor in one of North America's premier sports car racing championships. Known for his outright pace, detailed feedback and team-first approach, he brings the combination of speed and consistency required in a discipline where success depends as much on precision and racecraft as it does raw performance.

In 2025, Rumburg delivered the defining result of his IMSA career to date with a breakthrough victory at Virginia International Raceway. Sharing the Audi with Jaden Conwright, Rumburg helped take the No. 31 to the top step of the TCR podium, earning his first Michelin Pilot Challenge victory and delivering Audi its first TCR win of the season. For a driver with deep Virginia roots, the setting made the result particularly significant: Rumburg wasn't simply winning an IMSA race, he was doing it at his home track, in front of the family, friends and supporters who had been part of his racing career long before the national stage.

Rumburg returns to IMSA competition in 2026 with Speed Syndicate's Audi TCR program, sharing driving duties throughout the season with a talented roster that includes Jaden Conwright, Mark Brummond and Don Yount. Endurance racing demands a uniquely complete driver: one capable of delivering qualifying pace, managing traffic and changing conditions, communicating effectively with engineers and adapting to the needs of multiple teammates over the course of a race weekend. Rumburg has developed a reputation for embracing that process, combining competitive instinct behind the wheel with the technical understanding and collaborative mentality required to consistently move a program forward.

Beyond the cockpit, Rumburg represents the increasingly important intersection between professional motorsports, media and business. His Virginia roots provide an authentic regional connection, while IMSA competition gives partners access to a national platform and a highly engaged automotive audience. Personable, media-ready and comfortable engaging with fans, executives and corporate guests, Rumburg understands that representing a partner extends far beyond the logos on a race car. With longtime supporters including Manchester Hydraulics and Richmond-based RVA Graphics alongside him, he continues to build a career defined not only by results, but by strong relationships and lasting value for the people and brands that become part of the program.
